AJIB offers OTP-3D (One Time Password) Secure service, which provides a secure environment for customers to use their cards online. The service necessitates the use of a secret number sent by SMS to the cardholder's phone in order to complete purchases on websites participating in the 3D secure service, helping ensure the highest levels of security for customers.

General Security Tips

  • Choose a password that is tough for anyone to guess and DO NOT share with others
  • Change your password regularly
  • Make sure to update your records- mail address, mobile number, or physical address at any of our AJIB branches
  • DO NOT trust or browse any sites without a valid security certificate, i.e. RED Bar
  • Always access your Mobile/Online Banking account from trusted devices only
  • If you come across any suspicious emails or text messages, DO NOT reply and simply call our Contact Center available 24/7 at +9625003005
  • Check the transactions on your account on a regular basis to avoid fraudulent activities
  • It is suggested to download an anti-virus software on your PC and smart phone, for extra security protection
  • DO NOT share your Debit/Credit Card PIN with anyone

Password Security Dont

  • DO NOT use only letters or only numbers
  • DO NOT use names of relatives or pets
  • DO NOT use phone numbers, birthdays, or car license plate numbers
  • DO NOT use the same word as your log-in, or any variation of it
  • DO NOT use any word that can be found in the dictionary- even foreign words
  • DO NOT use passwords with repeated letters or numbers

Password Security correct

  • Passwords must be at least 14 characters long
  • Include at least one capital letter (A to Z)
  • Include at least one small letter (a to z)
  • Include at least one digit (0 to 9)
  • Include at least one special character (!@#$%^&*)

Keep an eye out for

  • Phishing- Fraudulent threats that try to gather personal information such as usernames, passwords, or credit card details by convincing the user to trust them as an entity
  • Malware- Malicious software that is precisely designed to harm or gain unauthorized access to a system
  • Spam- irrelevant messages that are sent for either advertising purposes, phishing, or spreading malware
